Born and raised in Salt Lake City, it was apparent at a young age that a career in the photography industry was in my future. In 4th grade, I took home first place in a state wide art competition for Photoshopping my sister’s face on my pet mastiff. The piece was titled “My Favorite Things.”
Following high school, I moved to Italy where I spent hours in the darkroom studying analog and digital processes at Firenze Arti Visive. A year later, I returned to the States to complete my BFA in photography and cinema history from San Francisco's Academy of Art University.
Chasing a dream, I moved to Portland, Oregon. Although it did not work out, I danced in the rain and made the city of bridges my home for two years. I then packed up and headed to the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in South Korea as a field producer for broadcasting.
Now that I am back in the States, I have to admit that the songs and poems were all true, I left my heart in San Francisco and am back for round two, trading in the constant rain for Karl the Fog's misty embrace. I am currently the social media and community manager at Snapwire.
